Our accounts team is busy and needs a hand. You’ll be the go-to for processing purchase invoices, keeping supplier accounts up to date, and handling daily queries. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a down-to-earth team and likes getting things organised.
What You’ll Be Doing
You won’t just be staring at a screen all day; there’s plenty of variety. Your main tasks will include:
- Managing the Paperwork: Processing purchase invoices into our electronic system and keeping supplier accounts up to date.
- Problem Solving: Checking monthly statements and chasing up any missing invoices or credits.
- Communication: Answering the phone and handling the inboxes, dealing with queries from suppliers and the rest of the team.
- Team Support: Helping with general admin and getting stuck in whenever the team needs a hand.
What You’ll Bring

- The Right Attitude: You’re friendly, down-to-earth, and happy to muck in with a small, close-knit team.
- A Solid Foundation: You understand the basics of how an office or accounts department works.
- Sage Knowledge: Previous experience with Sage is preferred to help you get up to speed quickly.
- Trustworthiness: You’re reliable and take pride in doing a job properly.
- Communication Skills: You’re comfortable picking up the phone and talking to people.
