If you like a job where every day is different, this role is ideal. You’ll work across farms, quarries, factories and construction sites carrying out repairs, welding and installations. It’s varied, hands-on work where your skills really matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Fabricating and welding on a mix of equipment and steelwork
- Carrying out alterations, removals and installations
- Working from engineering drawings
- MIG and STICK welding
- Operating forklifts, telehandlers and MEWPs
- Travelling to customer sites, company vehicle provided
What You’ll Bring
- A strong fabrication background
- Good problem-solving skills
- Experience in a similar fitter/fabricator/welder role
- Competence in MIG & STICK welding (TIG welding is an advantage)
- Ability to read drawings
- Confidence using site machinery
- Full UK driving licence
